Peaceful simplicity are the words to sum up this Japanese-inspired design. The concept evolves around a way of living that holds tightly to balance and order.

We gently replicate the Japanese style by using such elements as the sliding door, the wooden grids and frames of furniture, and the genkan – Japanese entryway. We also tried to maximise open space and natural lighting which is key to Japanese design. The last but not the least is choice of colours. To honour a natural colour palette, this design contains simple colours such as the browns of wooden elements and the grey tones in floors and furnitures.

Plenty of greens from houseplants is the final touch we recommended for the home owners to personalise when they move in.

What we love about it

  • The sliding glass door to kitchen
  • The wooden minimal furniture
  • The entryway to bedroom
